So much that.

My grandparents never actually took part in the wars (WW2 or subsequent.)
However I had the privilege of being able to talk with several members of the aero club were my parents went who had.

I actually did an in depth interview with one for a school assignment, it was really fascinating to hear stories directly. It’s something no documentary could offer in my opinion.

I do encourage people to talk to anyone they know who does have first hand accounts of any of the conflicts (if the person is willing to do so, never force the subject, wars are traumatizing, and many will not want to discuss it). It’s a valuable insight, and worth doing.
Each person involved has their own story to tell, and there’s a huge majority that will never really be told.

Go, ask the questions, the answers may surprise you, and you can learn a lot from it. It may not be exciting, but it’ll be informative.

Oh I hated that when I worked in the pub as an apprentice.
I actually had one guy cancel it right as I was putting his order into the oven.. At least staff meals were done for the night though, haha..

(The place I worked at did wood-fired pizzas in the courtyard, so the other apprentice and myself rotated the days we would do them.)

When making pizza dough, is it really necessary to do spin the dough in the air? And how well can you do it?

Itā€™s not necessary but itā€™s the easiest way to stretch the dough evenly.Ā 

It kinda depends on the dough though.Ā  The place I used to work out, we used a machine to flatten the dough and you COULD toss it, but the dough was kinda stiff.Ā  If you tried to stretch it with your hands, it would almost always break.Ā  But if you tossed it, that would work.

Where I work now.. .the dough is super softā€¦ I find that tossing it works well, BUT if I toss just SLIGHTLY too highā€¦ when I catch it I put a big hole in the dough =/Ā  It stretches by hand much easier than the stiff stuff (OMG LOL STIFF)

As for how well.. well each dough is different, so I can safely say I can do really soft dough and really hard dough wellā€¦ havenā€™t tried one in the middle though XD

It’s rare I do anything with pizza dough myself these days (mostly only do it when I do a pizza night at home)

my dough tends to be in the middle when I make it. I toss it a little, but I try to avoid doing it too much. I can be a bit rough sometimes and end up ruining it, lol
