That’s an excellent point.
The thing is, you don’t feel dramatically older. You just continue to feel like yourself. Sure, you may mature along the way from various life experiences, but you maintain who you are at your core.
It feels like one minute you’re 24, and the next, you’re 30 before you even realize the years have passed. But, you keep enjoying the things you enjoyed before, and you’re just as inclined to listen to all the new music, watch all the new movies, and see all the new shows out there. And really, you’re never done growing. But then, that’s not really a bad thing. I believe it’s important for people to try to hold on to their sense of childlike wonder. Once you lose it, it’s gone – you can never get it back.
If you can live each day with the same bright, open eyes you had as a child, then life will always be an adventure.
I don’t get older.
I level up..
