i’ve always scoffed at those “oh my god europe is tiny”-posts but we just took the wrong exit driving back to our cabin and we literally ended up in norway and decided to just stay for dinner so yeah

this just happened AGAIN jesus fucking christ there isn’t even a sign that says welcome to fucking norway you’re just there all of a sudden

I could miss an exit and still stay in my state for another 8 hours.

I live in Texas. The concept of a roadtrip that goes out of state is foreign to me.

I also live in the part of Australia that most Aussies dismiss as that bit over there with lots of desert.

Fun story:

I live in the Iowa about two hours from Des Moines and and sister is a terrible driver.

We were heading back from there and thinking we were going towards home until we drove a couple hours and saw a sign that said “Now entering Kansas City, MO”

Missouri was literally in the exact opposite direction from where were supposed to be going and proceeded to turn the wrong way and drive that direction for two hours anyway.

For me to *fly* to work takes two hours by jet. We barely travel half the state.
It’d take two days of driving to get here (based on how long or deliveries take. They leave Perth Thursday, arrive late Saturday)
