are they just stealing the idea of a anime????
I’m not 100% sure, and this is probably gonna sound conceited… But I think I might have unitentionally caused the country…
pftftftftftft i didn’t even know the anime until people told me like ‘hey ya know hetaillia or something? blah blah blah’ XD and hmm maybe i did get inspired by ur 4th of july pic thing… but it wasn’t the only inspiration, i guess its coincidence XP
Seriously, the anime didn’t even enter into the equation of this for us. most of us jumped into the idea after USA pony started a competition on her blog, and we decided to create our blogs, pretty much all at the same time then.
it honestly wasn’t until a couple of weeks later really that the topic of hetalia even came up. but I don’t think any of us (that I’m aware of anyway) have even seen it. We just thought the idea was nifty, and ran with it.
The characters are our own, with personalities based on our own perceptions and experiences with the country that they are meant to represent, any similarities with the anime are honestly, pure chance.
